Emaar South is a master community in Dubai South, next to Expo City Dubai. Emaar's brochure gives these approximate drive times:

• Al Maktoum International Airport: 5 minutes
• Dubai Marina: 30 minutes
• Downtown Dubai and Burj Khalifa: 35 minutes
• Dubai International Airport: 45 minutes

Access is via Emirates Road, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and the Dubai South road network.

Buyer considerations

Emaar South is planned around golf living, with 25 neighbourhood parks and about 22,700 residential units, according to Emaar. Golf Fields is one of its newest launches. Golf Trails at Emaar South is a nearby Emaar project with a similar mix of apartments and townhouses, and its current units start higher.

Emaar presents the community as part of the growth corridor around Al Maktoum International Airport and Expo City Dubai. AED 1.26 million is the entry price, so ask for current prices by unit type and view. Confirm the payment schedule and handover date in writing before you reserve.
